Things Needed For This Tutorial
  • Paint Shop Pro (This is done using 9), but should be able to be done in newer versions.
  • A tube/image of your choice,I am using Elias Chatzoudis,which you can purchase here,do not use unless you have a license to do so.
  • Scrap kit "Purty In Pink" by Ann of "Addicted 2 Scraps" ...This is a PTU kit that can be purchased Here or you may use one of your choice.
  • Template "ElegantlyWasted0021Cin" Here...Save this somewhere easy to find.
  • Font of your choice....
Please Note..All Settings remain the same unless otherwise noted.
 
Let's get started.....
1.  Open your Tube/Image of choice and Minimize it for now.
2.  Open tag template....Duplicate (Shift + D) once and close out original.

     Delete the top layer (Designer Info)....

4.  "Layer1" leave as is....On "Layer2" & "Layer3"....Selections/Select All - Selections/Float -Selections/Defloat

5.  Selections/Modify/Contract at 3....Make Image active....Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag.  Resize as needed, position image where you like.  Selections/Invert....Edit/Cut....Selections/Select None

6.  In your layers pallet....change blend mode to "Luminance Legacy"...on both Image layers.

7.  On "Layer2" & "Layer3"....Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow....Vertical & Horizontal 0, Opacity 50, Blur 10, Shadow on new layer - unchecked.

8.  Both Text Layers leave as is....On "Layer4" & "Layer5"....Selections/Select All - Selections/Float -Selections/Defloat

9.  Open a paper of your choice....Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the template.

10. Resize it if you like...place it where you like.  Selections/Invert

Edit/Cut.....Select None  - Apply same drop shadow to both layers...Delete both template layers.

11. On "Layer6" & "Layer7"...I left both of these layers the color as is....the color worked with my tube/image.  You may colorise both layers to suit your tube/image.

Apply same drop shadow to both layers....

12. On "Layer8" ...Selections/Select All - Selections/Float -Selections/Defloat

13. Open a paper of your choice....Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the template. 14. Resize it if you like...place it where you like.  Selections/Invert

Edit/Cut.....Select None  - Apply same drop shadow...Delete template layer

15. On "Layer9" ...Selections/Select All - Selections/Float -Selections/Defloat

16. Open a paper of your choice....Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the template.

17. Resize it if you like...place it where you like.  Selections/Invert

Edit/Cut.....Select None  - Apply same drop shadow...Delete template layer

18. On "Layer10" ...Selections/Select All - Selections/Float -Selections/Defloat

19. Open a paper of your choice....Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the template.

20. Resize it if you like...place it where you like.  Selections/Invert

Edit/Cut.....Select None  - Apply same drop shadow...Delete template layer

21. On "Layer11"...I left this layer as is, it works with the tube/image.  You may colorise it to suit your tube/image.

22. Open the black glitter element....Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the template.

23. With your mover tool....move it to the left.  See my tag for placement.  Layers/Duplicate....Image/Mirror....Image/Flip.

24. Make "Layer6" active...Open the pink glitter element....Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the template.  See my tag for placement.

25. Layers/Merge/Merge All Flatten....Make your tube active....Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag.  Resize as needed, postion it where you like.  Resize if needed...I used the same drop shadow as well.

26. Open the black swirl element....Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the template.

27. Move it below your tube layer.  Image/Resize at 70% ....all layers unchecked (Smart Size)....With your mover tool...place it so it is on the top right of the tag.

28. Layers/Duplicate....Image/Mirror....Image/Flip. Place it in so it's on the bottom left of the tag.  See my tag for placement.

29. Now add any other elements you like....Don't forget to add the proper copyright info....add you name.

30. Crop off any and all extra white around your finished tag....

That's it...Your all done.  If you are using it for a Tag you may want to resize....I like to use 65%.  Now if you are using it for a header, no need to resize.

To save your image go to File/Export and export the JPEG Optimizer and Optimize at anywhere between 15 and 20 or whichever setting you prefer :)
