Things Needed For This Tutorial
  • Paint Shop Pro (This is done using 9), but should be able to be done in newer versions.
  • A tube of your choice,I am using Keith Garvey,which you can purchase here,do not use unless you have a license to do so.
  • Plugin....Mehdi - Melt....You can find it Here
  • SSAM_Template1-By Missy Here...Save this somewhere it is easy to find.
  • Scrap kit "Blissfull" by ZiggyFan Scraps...This is a PTU kit that can be purchased on my blog or you may use one of your choice.
  • Or use Scrap Papers of your choice....or patterns of your choice.
Please Note..All Settings remain the same unless otherwise noted.
Let's get started.....
1.  Open your tube....and the tag Template.  
2.  Make the tag Template active....Duplicate (Shift + D) once and close out original.

3.  Delete the top layer (Designer Info)....Make "Raster 2" layer active

4.  Selections/Select All....Selections/Float....Selections/Defloat

Open a paper of your choice...Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.

    Resize if you like....Selections/Invert ....Edit/Cut   ....Select none.

5.  Make "Raster 6" layer active....Selections/Select All

Selections/Float....Selections/Defloat

6.  Using the same paper you just used...Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.  Resize if you like....Selections/Invert ....Edit/Cut   ....Select none.
7.  Make "Raster 4" layer active....Selections/Select All

Selections/Float....Selections/Defloat

8.  Open a paper of your choice...Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.

    Resize if you like....Selections/Invert ....Edit/Cut   ....Select none.

9.  Make "Raster 5" layer active....Selections/Select All

Selections/Float....Selections/Defloat

10.  Open a paper of your choice...Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.

    Resize if you like....Selections/Invert ....Edit/Cut   ....Select none.

11.  Make "Raster 7" layer active....Selections/Select All

Selections/Float....Selections/Defloat

12.  Open a paper of your choice...Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.

    Resize if you like....Selections/Invert ....Edit/Cut   ....Select none.

13.  Open my "Wire Heart" from the kit...Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.

14.  Image/Resize at 67%....Resize all layers - Unchecked (Smart Size)
15.  Image/Rotate/Free Rotate to the left at 15 degrees....with your mover tool very carefully click on the wire heart...zoom in if you need to...and see my tag for placement.

16.  Add a drop shadow of your choice....and in your layer pallet. 

Move this layer below the "Raster 6" layer.

17.  In your layers pallet....Hide the bottom layer (Raster 1).  Make sure you are on a layer that is visible...Layers/Merge/Merge Visible

18.  Unhide the bottom layer...and make the merged layer active.

 

19.  Layers/Duplicate....Image/Canvas Size and change the width to 640 and the height to 500

20.  Click on the bottom layer and flood fill it with the white...
you will need to click where there is no white. 

21.  Make the top layer active....Effects/Plugins/Medi - Melt with these settings:

Size 15 -20, Amount 30 -35, Ratio 0....play with settings till you what you like.

22.  Layers/Arrange/Move Down

23.  Make your "Tube" active Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.

24.  Add a drop shadow of our choice....Crop off any extra white you don't want.

25.  Layers/Merge/Merge All Flatten...add your name, effects and don't forget to add the proper copyright info.

That's it...Your all done.  If you are using it for a Tag you may want to resize....I like to use 65%.  Now if you are using it for a header, no need to resize.

To save your image go to File/Export and export the JPEG Optimizer and Optimize at anywhere between 15 and 20 or whichever setting you prefer :)
