Things Needed For This Tutorial
  • Paint Shop Pro (This is done using 9), but should be able to be done in newer versions.
  • A tube of your choice,I am using Suzanne Woolcott,which you can purchase here,do not use unless you have a license to do so.
  • WSL_Mask52....Found Here....Save this somewhere it is easy to find.
  • Passion-Template-By Me Here...Save this somewhere it is easy to find.
  • Scrap kit "Purple Passion" by Dreamland Designs...This is a PTU kit that can be purchased from her blog Here.
  • Or you may use a Scrap kit of your choice.
Please Note..All Settings remain the same unless otherwise noted.
Let's get started.....
1.  Open your tube, the mask, and the template.  
2.  Make the tag Template active....Duplicate (Shift + D) once and close out original.

3.  Delete the top layer (Designer Info)....Make "Background" layer active

4. Flood fill it with white or a color of your choice.

5. Open a paper of your choice...Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.

Layers/New mask layer/From image...with the following settings:

6. Make "Bottom" layer active...Selections/Select All / Selections/Float / Selections/Defloat

Open a paper of your choice...Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.

    Resize as you like....Selections/Invert ....Edit/Cut   ....Select none.

7. Make "Middle" layer active...Selections/Select All / Selections/Float / Selections/Defloat

Open a paper of your choice...Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.

    Resize as you like....Selections/Invert ....Edit/Cut   ....Select none.

8. Make "Top" layer active...Selections/Select All / Selections/Float / Selections/Defloat

Open a paper of your choice...Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.

    Resize as you like....Selections/Invert ....Edit/Cut   ....Select none.

9.  Now add a drop shadow of your choice to the Bottom, Middle & Top layers.
10. Make your "Tube" active, Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.
Resize as needed and apply a dropshadow of your choice.
11.  Open the "doodle1" from the kit...Image/Mirror....Edit/Copy
 Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.  Place it to the left of the tube.
In your layers palette move it down to were it sits just above the mask layer.
Once you got it were you like add a dropshadow of your choice.

12.  Open the "feather" from the kit...Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.  Image/Resize at 60%...Image/Mirror...Image/Flip.

13. Image/Rotate/Free Rotate to the right at 30 degrees, all layers unchecked.

14.  Move it to the right of your tube...It should look something like this.

15. Open the "frame 4" from the kit...Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.  Image/Resize at 60%...Place it to the right of your tube above the feather.
16.  Once you got it where you like it...With your magic wand select the inside of the first opening...Selections/Modify/Expand by 3.
17.  Make your tube active or an image of your choice.  Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.  Resize as needed...once you have the part your image you like in the selected frame...Selections/Invert...Edit/Cut   ....Select none.
18.  Repeat these steps until you have all 3 opening filled.  Then I moved my added images below the frame layer and then added a dropshadow to the frame.
19.  Open a ribbon of your choice from the kit...Edit/Copy...Paste it as a new layer onto the tag template.  Resize as needed and place it at the top of the frame. See my tag for example.
20.  Now you may add your text...Add a drop shadow of our choice

Layers/Merge/Merge All Flatten....Crop off any extra white you don't want.

Don't forget to add the proper copyright info.

That's it...Your all done.  If you are using it for a Tag you may want to resize....I like to use 65%.  Now if you are using it for a header, resize to your liking.

To save your image go to File/Export and export the JPEG Optimizer and Optimize at anywhere between 15 and 20 or whichever setting you prefer :)
